- Situation: A new parking garage was severely cracking due to improper curing. Cracks covered the entire garage and threatened the structural integrity of the building. There were so many cracks in the concrete, that any spray applied solution would leak through the cracks and not be absorbed into the concrete.
- Challenge: To seal extensively leaking concrete without wasting product.

Solution: The application team taped the cracks underneath the concrete slabs so that the product would not leak through. Then they applied five gallons of TechCrete 2500 only on the cracks. Normal application rate of TechCrete 2500 is 200 linear feet per gallon. Finally Two applicators applied the Waterproofing Agent and Accelerating Agent to 8,000 square feet in under two days. Even though there were so many cracks, they were all sealed within a week and 95% were sealed in three days.
The owners waterproofed half of the garage with TechCrete 2500 in 2017. Two years later, the owners of the garage hired Alchemco to apply the same solution to the other half of their garage, which was cracking like the first half. Now the entire garage is sealed.
