Situation: Waterproof the concrete hull of a newly constructed floating dry dock (Peleke Nui), with TechCrete 2500 Waterproofing System on board a heavy lift vessel at sea in May of 2017.
Challenge: Since the newly constructed 'floating dry dock' already had a full schedule of clients waiting to be serviced, it was imperative that the shp be removed from the water... waterproofed... and returned to operation status as quickly as possible.
Solution: TechCrete 2500 was spray applied to the concrete hull in a record 26 hours. Allowing the vessel to return to operational status in less than a weeks time.
